A charity that gives advice on the benefits you may be entitled to and wider legal advice.

Find pension contact details (Pension Tracing Service) - external link

A service provided by the Pension Tracing Service that helps you to find contact details for a workplace or personal pension scheme.

For You By You - The Charity for Civil Servants - external link - (previously the Civil Service Benevolent Fund)

Gives financial support in cases of specific hardship or to buy needed equipment. It can also help with child care support and gives advice on care placement.

HMRC - external link - HM Revenue and Customs

Gives news and information on tax matters and national insurance in the United Kingdom.

Pension Wise - external link

Gives free and impartial advice about defined contribution pensions, it will not recommend any products or tell you what to do with your money.

The Civil Service Pensioners' Alliance - external link

(CSPA) is a campaigning body representing pensioners in the civil service and related schemes. It was formed in 1952 to secure improvements in pensions and pensioners welfare. It is non party political, financially independent and democratically run in the UK.

The Civil Service Retirement Fellowship - external link

A national charity that helps you make the most of your retirement. It has local groups that will do what they can to help members overcome loneliness, hardship, suffering or distress.

The Department for Work & Pensions - external link

Gives details of leaflets and benefits available for families, those at work and the retired. DWP also provides useful information regarding employment, pensions and welfare.

Money Helper - external link (Previously - The Money Advice Service - external link)

A service set up by the Government that gives free and impartial money advice.

The Financial Conduct Authority - external link

(FCA) is the independent regulator accountable to Treasury and, through them, to Parliament. The FCA look after the financial services industry and protect consumers. The FCA have replaced the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

Money Helper (Pensions & retirement) - external link (Previously - The Pensions Advisory Service - external link)

A service that gives free advice to those experiencing problems with company or personal providers and explains the different pension types of defined contribution and defined benefit schemes (Classic, Classic Plus, Premium and Nuvos are defined benefit schemes).

The Pensions Regulator - external link

The UK regulator of workplace pension schemes.
